Design philosophy
Higher, faster and stronger
During operation of the equipment, main hydraulic cylinder pushes upper press plate to press downward, filter plate group fastens, and multiple closed filter chambers are formed. Materials are pumped in the filter chambers, and pressure difference is formed on upper and lower surfaces of filter cloth due to pressure of pump. Solid particles are intersected in filter chambers by filter cloth, and filtration liquid penetrates filter cloth and is discharged aggregately. When materials fill up filter chambers, material feed-in stops, and at this time materials can be washed in filter chamber through washing liquid. Afterwards, filter cake is dried by filling high temperature high pressure gas or high temperature vapor in filter chamber. Once moisture of filter cake satisfies requirement, main hydraulic cylinder pulls upper pressure plate to move upwards and opens filter plates one by one. Driving device on the filter plates drives filter belt to operate to unload filter cake. Filters applied in multiple industrial fields including chemical engineering, tailing, environment protection include PF vertical filter press, FFP filter press and so forth, and PF model takes up a leading position in filtration of fine particles. Filtang ITFP intelligent tower filter press is developed from PF, HVPF vertical filter press, and compared to PF model, the majority of parts are upgraded, and parts such as insulation membrane are withdrawn. Same as PF and FFP filters, it is suitable for filtration of fine particles, particularly suitable for the materials that are difficult to be fed in, little impact of insulation membrane pressure on reduction of moisture, and are inclined attach to insulation membrane. ITFP substantially reduces filtration circulation time compared to general vertical filter, as for general materials, average single circulation time only takes approximately 2.5 minutes. ITFP control system automatically configures filter cloth to move intermittently, and fully realizes automatic operations on work processes including material feed-in, pump extrusion, filter cake washing, drying, material unloading, filer cloth cleaning, deviation rectification of filter cloth, and automatic tensioning of filter cloth. Structure
Stability conquers all
Filtang innovative separate filter cloth structure and air-blowing device essentially overcome the issues such as poor operations of the equipment, filtration materials leak, and high maintenance cost. Meanwhile, tower filter press presses filter plates firmly, whereby maintenance difficulty is decreased. Integrated filter plates may adopt joints of one to four 3D printed high-strength plastic parts, thereby structural strength is enhanced, and cost is reduced. Integrated formed round filter cake chamber can be adopted, so that filter cake pressing and filtering dead angle is usefully avoided, solid particles are distributed evenly, thickness of filter cake is even, and effective filter cake washing can be performed.

Compact structure and little occupation of land are suitable for being arranged in compact factory buildings and vessels. Little manual intervention, maintenance is convenient, and labor cost is saved. The whole unit adopts high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance materials, and therefore deterioration under high temperature and corrosion by acid and alkali are avoided. High temperature and air-blowing can be adopted, and moisture of filter cake is lower. On June 24, 2019, a group of engineers who wish to prove that new filtration technology is better, faster and has more possibilities than traditional filtration technology created Filtang. Filtang not only has the capability in developing high-end filtration technology, but also promotes the development of the overall industry by spreading the new intelligent technology. Filtang believes that human's prospect will be more wonderful if industrial filtration technology stays away from the reliance on limited water resource and energy and moves forward to zero emission earlier.

Filtang carried out research and development work on horizontal vacuum filter, rotary table vacuum filter, dynamic filter and cartridge filter in models such as D1, and thus opened a new page of filtration technology in China. After 1980s, founder team of Filtang began research and development of a series of new filtration equipment in Nuclear Industry East China Machinery Plant, Kunshan Chemical Machinery Plant, Shanghai Chemical Machinery Plant, and Shanghai Feilong Filtration Machinery Co., Ltd. Therein, full automatic vertical filter press' performance is extraordinary, filter cake moisture rate is extremely low, and can be continually upgraded through intelligent re-engineering. Through many years' tests and verification, it overturns people's expectations on filter of 21st century. In the new journey, Filtang caters to subdivisions such as fine chemical engineering, new energy battery materials, crude oil and oil sludge treatment and sludge drying, will stress on the development of new filtration equipment such as dynamic ceramic membrane filter, tower filter press and back flushing pressing filter, and carry out research and development on technology for complete sets of equipment, leading upgrading and development of the industry.

Compared to traditional the strategy of less attention paid to research and development but emphasizing on production amongst Chinese enterprises, and foreign giants' strategy of stressing research and development and procurement, Filtang is persistent in the operation strategy led by innovation, and is dedicated to sustainable improvement of production environment and increase in capacity. Filtang's overall unit and the majority of parts are manufactured in the 20000 m2 manufacturing plant in JWK, Hangzhou. By self-made parts, Filtang not only is able to complete delivery in a short period of time, but also is able to lower cost of equipment parts and improve controllability of product quality.

In order to forge the complete filtration system with sustainable development, Filtang designed intelligent filtration solution composited by MEMS sensor system, intelligent concentrator and Cloud full data system, whereby clients, architecture institutes and industrial filtration peers are able to monitor real-time state of operations, regulate capacity and energy consumption, and lower operating costs dramatically.

This is only a beginning. Simultaneous to manufacturing high-end filtration products, Filtang will continually produce products with affordable prices and easy to accept for more clients, in an attempt to realize industrial clean filtration and sustainable production eventually.
